Training

Jennifer Roberts, owner, and trainer has studied horses for 22 years. After graduating from Western Washington University in 2000 she trained horses for a year at Papetti Pastures in Bellingham, Washington before moving back home to Whidbey Island.

Jennifer takes a holistic approach when she trains using natural horsemanship to develop a strong confident relationship between horse and handler. She believes that horses can only advance in their training if they are physically and emotionally healthy. Jennifer loves all breeds and temperaments of horses and is committed to bringing out the best in each of them.

Jennifer has trained horses and students who have been competitive in 4-H, Zone, AQHA, APHA, and PtHA. Jennifer has been particularly successful training and showing in Trail, Showmanship, Stock Seat Equitation, Hunter Under Saddle, Beginning Dressage and Lunge Line.

Emphasis is placed on continued education. She continuously studies to improve her training methods
